Following the latest rumor that The Talk may be looking for a male co-host to replace her, Carrie Ann Inaba may be sharing her own thoughts about the situation.

In her latest Instagram video post, Carrie Ann Inaba writes, “You are the hero of your own story. Do you agree?”

Carrie Ann Inaba further explains that Joseph Campbell reminds everyone of their ability to create their own story or finding meaning in their own lives. “We get to shape it and choose it. For me, it boils down to trusting oneself,” she reveals. “When you trust yourself, you will be a better hero in your own life journey.”

Carrie Ann also says, “May we all be our own hero. Let’s all be heroic. Because that is our destiny. It’s our own life.. and we are the authors. And I believe in you.”

The current on-hiatus The Talk co-host has not spoken out about the potential of being replaced on the daytime talk show. Carrie previously stated that she’s taking time off due to medical issues, but hoped she would return soon. She also recently revealed, “I noticed a lot of you are asking about The Talk, if I’m coming back, and what’s happening there. I should have some news soon about what’s going on with my future at The Talk.”

Who Are the Current Hosts of ‘The Talk’

Currently co-hosts on The Talk are Eve, Amanda Kloots, Sheryl Underwood, and Elaine Welteroth. Jerry O’Connell recently joined the panel as the show’s first male co-host. He is replacing long-time co-host, Sharon Osbourne, following an explosive argument between the co-hosts this past spring.

As previously reported, Jerry stated that his fellow co-hosts have been nothing but amazing towards him since he joined the show. “I mean, I came here as a guest months ago. And just from the moment I walked in, you’re just gracious, you’re kind, you’re fun. And it worked and here we are.”

Carrie Ann Inaba Set to Return to ‘Dancing With the Stars’

Carrie reportedly confirmed in an Instagram post that she was making her return to the show’s ballroom. “Get your glitter on. Pull your disco balls out. Warm up your back. I can’t wait. Let’s bring on the dancing!” She also posted in an Instagram post, “Bring on the ballroom!”
