We all know and love Carrie Ann Inaba from her time as a co-host on The Talk and her stint on Dancing With the Stars. But it turns out she is also an avid lover of sharks.

Carrie Ann Inaba is still yet to return to her co-hosting spot on The Talk. And she has yet to really give fans a timetable on when she might make a return. For those who don’t know, Inaba decided to take a leave of absence from the show back in late April, citing multiple health issues as the reason.

But in the meantime, she took to social media to update everyone on what she has been doing in her spare time. That would be promoting the new Disney Plus documentary, Playing With Sharks starring Valerie Taylor.

“Why am I wearing snorkeling gear???? Well… swipe through to see!” Inaba begins her post. “But I’ll give you a hint… You have to check out this @natgeodocs PlayingWithSharks on @disneyplus TONITE!”

“I know we are all looking for interesting things to watch. I grew up on #NatGeo Documentaries. Let’s learn about sharks!!!! The most intriguing and powerful yet misunderstood animals in the sea. And no, I don’t know why I made that funny noise at the end. That’s just me.”

Carrie Ann Inaba Took a Leave of Absence from ‘The Talk’ Back in April

Carrie Ann Inaba was a well-known figure on the CBS daytime talk show, The Talk. And her fanbase grew even more when she appeared on Dancing With the Stars. So, it came as a surprise to everyone when Inaba announced a couple of months ago that she would be stepping away from her co-host and moderator duties for the foreseeable future.

She shared a video on Instagram at the time to explain to fans what she was going through.

“Hi everyone. So I wanted to let you know personally that I have decided to take a leave of absence from ‘The Talk’ to focus on my wellbeing. I know you guys understand, health is the most important thing. I appreciate your support and I appreciate the love and support from ‘The Talk’ family. And I hope to be back soon. Take care and I will keep you updated. Thank you.

Prior to her announcement, Inaba said back in March that she was experiencing sharp shooting pains. She took a short break back then, too, before coming back to the show. Now, however, it does appear at least from the outside that Inaba is starting to get back to her old self. And even though she isn’t going to work, she will be enjoying the new shark documentary tonight on Disney Plus.
