Carrie Ann Inaba’s future on “The Talk” may be undecided, yet the former TV host is living carefree. She recently took to Instagram to post a pool-side pic of herself relaxing in the sun. “Summer summer summer time…,” she captioned the post along with a butterfly, sun, and music note emoji.
In the comments section, fellow talk show host Kelly Ripa commented on the post writing, “Woweeeeeeee.” In addition, Inaba’s former colleague from “The View,” Amanda Kloots, also commented, writing, “Okay!!!!!” with several fire emojis.
While Inaba has not yet announced a date for when she’ll be back on the air, Jerry O’Connell recently made history on the show when he debuted as the morning show’s first male co-host.
During an episode, O’Connell said, “It’s real exciting. First of all, I want to say, you ladies have been so welcoming to me. I mean, I came here as a guest months ago, and just from the moment I walked in, you’re just gracious, you’re kind, you’re fun, and it worked. And here we are. We’re going to have a lot of fun, we really are.”
Jerry O’Connell Preparing for Debut on ‘The Talk’
As one of the few male hosts on daytime talk shows, O’Connell will give the show a new perspective. In addition, he seems over the moon about the new gig.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the newly named co-host opened up about joining the gals of “The Talk.”
“What I think I enhance at ‘The Talk’ is just, us having fun. If somebody says something, or has a story that remotely makes me laugh, or that I think is funny or interesting, we’re gonna hammer that. We’re gonna go right in there. I think it’s mostly about us breaking down the stories and having a good time while doing it.”
Before his time on “The Talk,” O’Connell previously served as guest host on “The Wendy Williams Show” for a few episodes when Wendy Williams dealt with medical issues. His appearance on her show led him to nail down his short-lived talk show, “Jerry O.”
At the same time, O’Connell guest-hosted on “The Talk” several times before being offered a full-time position. While the actor’s permanent position was announced several weeks ago, the actor won’t officially become a regular co-host of the chatfest until Season 12 debuts in September.
Fans of “The Talk” will t be excited to see what Jerry O’Connell brings to The Talk. And so far, many can agree that he certainly will add a new element to the show.
