In case you weren’t reminded enough that you are single, October 3 was National Boyfriend Day, and like many, Carrie Underwood took to Instagram to show off her smoking hot boo.
Hit singer Carrie Underwood uploaded a smiling photo with her husband and former NHL player Mike Fisher in a loving Instagram post yesterday for her 9.8 million followers. Underwood captioned the photo “Been married for 10 years, but he’s still my boyfriend… #NationalBoyfriendDay”
The post already boasts over 652 thousand, with nearly 2,900 comments from loving fans.
Most users wished the couple a happy anniversary or commented on how attractive the pair is. One fan wrote, “Hottest couple alive … Congratulations! ❤️❤️” while another said, “I’ve been married for 39 years and I say the same thing! Love is keeping it real! Happy Anniversary! 🥂.”
How Underwood and Fisher got together
The power couple got their start from a blind date set up by one of Underwood’s friends. While both maintained busy schedules in Nashville and Ottawa, they spoke on the phone to keep up with each other’s lives.
On New Years’ Eve 2008, the pair rekindled their flame with a midnight kiss to cap off their official first date. Later the next year, on December 20, 2009, Fisher proposed to Underwood in the comforts of his home.
In July, they made it official by tying the knot at the Ritz-Carlton in Georgia.
The couple now has two children together, including five-year-old Isaiah, as well as one-year-old Jacob.
Earlier this year, Underwood and Fisher also launched a series called Mike and Carrie: God & Country highlighting how their faith helped them overcome many obstacles, including three miscarriages.
