Chris Pratt is clearly a man who is willing to take on whatever task needs to be done. He’s even been taking on a variety of home improvement projects. All while also channeling the greatest home-improvement “do-it-yourselfer,” Tim Allen’s Tim “The Toolman” Taylor.
Cinema Blend recently reported on a series of Instagram snaps posted by Chris Pratt’s wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt. The Instagram story featured the “Jurassic World” star getting down and dirty while channeling his best Tim Allen impression.
The couple recently celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary. And, the domestic life seems to be working just fine for the couple. Who knows if the “The Tomorrow War” star was channeling Tim Allen’s famous Tim “The Toolman” Taylor character to hang up an anniversary gift, or if it was just a regular chore. Either way, Pratt was taking on the task like a champ.
Chris Pratt Is Certainly A Man of Many Talents
Chris Pratt first found his way into our hearts playing the lovable, and very ditzy, Andy Dwyer on the popular sitcom “Parks and Recreation.”
Prior to Pratt’s television comedy debut, the actor had a recurring role on Fox’s hit “The O.C.” Pratt also scored some film roles in movies such as “Bride Wars,” and “Take Me Home Tonight.”
In 2015 Chris Pratt took on some dangerous costars starring in the hit blockbuster “Jurassic World.” He shared the screen with Bryce Dallas Howard. Pratt appeared in the hit film’s sequel “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” as well as the hit movie franchise’s upcoming film “Jurassic World: Dominion.” Pratt also portrays Peter Quill in the hit superhero series “Guardians of the Galaxy.”
We all know Pratt’s talent spans several genres. He can most recently be found starring in the Amazon Prime film ‘The Tomorrow War.” However, according to the most recent snaps shared by Pratt’s wife, he could certainly “nail” the “Home Improvement” role made famous by Tim Allen.
The “Toolman” Is an Iconic Television Hit
Tim Allen found success as Tim “The Toolman” Taylor on the 1990s comedy “Home Improvement.”
The well-known comedy was based on the stand-up comedy of Tim Allen. The series followed the Taylor family headed by “everyman” Tim Taylor. Taylor loves power tools, sports, cars, and sports cars. He has his own local “do-it-yourself” show. Taylor may be a “tool guy,” but he is certainly accident-prone. His actions often lead to very dangerous, and very comical situations for himself and his assistant, Al (Richard Karn.) Clearly, a character that left a lasting impression on many. Including Chris Pratt.
In 2011 Allen returned to television as Mike Baxter in the hit ABC series “Last Man Standing.” Allen portrayed the only male in a family of all girls. The series follows Baxter, who is a senior executive and director of marketing for an outdoor sporting goods store chain. Baxter’s home life keeps him busy with a wife, three daughters, and a grandson. During the show’s run, Baxter’s family expanded to include sons-in-law as the girls got married.
