A contestant with a once ‘secret’ connection to Clint Eastwood will be one to watch for an upcoming ABC reality show.
The show? “The Bachelorette.” The show is in its 18th season and will begin filming soon.
Personal trainer L.T. Murray IV is the grandson of legendary movie star Clint Eastwood. Heavy.com reported that the Bellevue, Washington resident has appeared in the news over the past few years and has worked to get a television show.
Murray IV, who is ten years older than Bachelorette Michelle Young, will compete with 35 other men on the show.
His website states that he’s certified in yoga and spin classes. He’s also into dancing, reading fantasy novels, volunteering at the Seattle Children’s Hospital, or creating content for social media.
Clint Eastwood’s ‘Secret’ Grandson Part Of Family History
Eastwood’s family history has faced attention over the years.
The 91-year-old director has been married twice. He’s also been partners with two actresses, Sandra Locke and Frances Fisher. Eastwood had recognized eight children, but others may exist.
However, Clint Eastwood had been a part of many casual and serious relationships over the years. During those times, several overlapped others.
Over the years, the public learned of other children. For example, Kimber Eastwood was born in 1959. Her existence was not known until The National Enquirer reported on her in 1989. She was also born during Eastwood’s time with Johnson. For many years, she was known as Eastwood’s first daughter. She did not become an actress but a make-up artist and film producer.
In 2018, Murray showed up in photos with his mother, Laurie, for Clint Eastwood’s movie, “The Mule.” Reports linked Murray’s mother to an unnamed woman who Eastwood was dating in 1953. In October 1953, Eastwood engaged to Maggie Johnson. The couple married on December 19, less than eight weeks before Laurie Murray was born.
Laurie Murray’s adoption by a Seattle couple led to a normal life, but as she sought out the identity of her father, she learned it was Eastwood.
YourTango reported that Murray and Clint Eastwood became close, sharing a love of the outdoors and golf.
When LT Murray IV and his mother attended the 2018 premiere, questions circulated. Over the years, RadarOnline.com reported that Murray IV had become an “internet sensation.”
In April 2019, the website reported that he wanted to get into show business. He wanted to do his “own show,” but not sure about what that show was.
“I want to host something, or write, act and produce. Nothing is keeping me [in Washington],” he told RadarOnline.
Before waves of Murray IV’s entrance into the show, there was another Bachelorette drama.
On “The Bachelorette” Monday night, Katie Thurston’s final four suitors unexpectedly dropped to three ahead of Hometown Dates week, when Bachelor Nation fan-favorite Michael Allio surprisingly eliminated himself.
