Clint Eastwood is a Hollywood icon. It seems like there isn’t a role he can’t play. From no-name drifters and loose cannon cops to more subdued and emotional roles, Eastwood does it all. However, he isn’t just an actor Eastwood is also a successful director. On top of that, he had a country chart-topper with Merle Haggard back in the eighties.
Clint Eastwood got his start in the fifties and is still going strong today. Over the decades, he has starred in some of cinema’s most iconic films. Westerns like A Fistful of Dollars (1964) and The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly (1966) are deeply ingrained into American culture. That tune that probably plays in your head when you think of two gunslingers squaring off at high noon? That’s the main theme from The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Then, we have Dirty Harry (1971). That film gave us the “Do you feel lucky?” bit that has been referenced and parodied countless times.
In 1995 Clint Eastwood co-starred with Meryl Streep in The Bridges of Madison County. That film saw Eastwood taking on a new kind of role. It was a drama and love story about Robert Kincaid, a National Geographic photographer who has a brief affair with a woman while he is on assignment.
The thing is, Clint Eastwood looks nearly the same in many of his major roles. It almost seems as if he only started truly aging in his later years. At times, it’s hard to place when a film is from because Clint aged so gracefully. Sometimes it even seems as if he looks younger as the years go on.
Watch Clint Eastwood Grow And Age
For a better look at how Eastwood aged over the years, a fan account made a video containing photos of the Hollywood icon throughout the decades. It starts with a baby picture and goes all the way up to a recent photo of the 91-year-old actor/director. Check it out below.
Few stars in Hollywood have aged as well as Clint Eastwood. Even in his nineties, he doesn’t look his age. He doesn’t act his age either. In fact, he is still hard at work in Hollywood. He most recently directed and starred in Cry Macho. That film will be out later this year. It’s hard to imagine a world without Eastwood.
