Although sometimes he is overshadowed by Mark Wahlberg, Donnie Wahlberg is a man of many talents himself. As the eighth of 12 children, Donnie is a singer, songwriter, rapper, actor, record, and film producer.

You may recognize him as a founding member of the boy band New Kids on the Block. Or perhaps you saw him on the big screen during his roles in films like the Saw movies, Zookeeper, Dreamcatcher, The Sixth Sense, Righteous Kill, Ransom, and Band of Brothers. Wahlberg also produced and starred in Wahlburgers on A&E TV.

Talk about quite the resume.

But on Saturday afternoon, Donnie Wahlberg was letting the world know just how much his father meant to him. He penned a beautiful message as a tribute to his late father, Donald Wahlberg.

“Happy Heavenly Birthday Dad! Smiled so much watching this video,” Donnie Wahlberg wrote alongside the touching post. “I know I tend to write long posts but this video says it all. Such a perfect way to acknowledge the man he was, his no-quit attitude, and how it inspired me. Thank you @jaelynn.x for putting this together and posting it. So kind. ps — I blushed in the video and I’m blushing now.”
