One of the stars of “Duck Dynasty” is celebrating the recovery of one of his children on social media. That star is Jase Robertson and he shared an update about his daughter, Mia, via Twitter on Thursday (March 25).
And, according to Jase’s tweet, Mia is a fighter and is making progress on her road to recovery. Here’s what Jase had to say: on Twitter:
“Mia continues to show her tenacity in the healing process. She’s been out of bed today for little spurts, even long enough to brush up on her piano playing. Thank you all for your continued prayers. It’s a tough road, but our God is faithful!”
Jase’s message was shared as he retweeted a message from his wife – fellow “Duck Dynasty” star Missy Robertson. Missy shared a moving message about Mia, as well as two photos of her precious daughter. Here’s what Missy had to say:
“Thank you SO VERY MUCH for all of the prayers, cards, texts and messages, etc. We are overwhelmed with the support. They continue to mean so much to all of us. We have an Almighty and powerful God. He has been by Mia’s side for her entire life. We are grateful to you and to Him!”

“Duck Dynasty” fans were more than happy to share their support and encouragement for Mia in response to her parents’ social media posts on Thursday. Here are a few examples of those messages of support:

Before Her Surgery, Mia Encouraged Fans to Donate to Mia Moo Foundation
According to the organization’s website, the Mia Moo Foundation is “dedicated to raising awareness and funds towards treatments of cleft lip and palate.” A few weeks before her surgery, Mia talked about how the foundation is helping many children. That message was shared on her father’s Instagram page.
“Wow, our first newsletter went out Sept. 30 and since then we have raised over $103,000. Thank you so much!” Mia happily shared said in the Instagram video. “With this money we can help about 20 families. Let’s keep this going so we can help even more because every kid deserves a smile.”
According to the foundation’s website, the organization aims “to make sure that each and every child born with a cleft lip or palate receives the best possible medical care, regardless of his or her financial situation.
Ultimately, we desire to bring children throughout the country endless support and dedicated love through your donations, and more.”
