Duck Dynasty’s Korie Robertson Drops Incredible Throwback Photos for Touching Valentine’s Post

On Sunday morning, Duck Dynasty star Korie Robertson posted a touching Valentine’s Day message for her husband Willie Robertson.

The reality star shared a series of older photos mixed in with more recent pics of the couple on her Instagram account. Robertson shared four photos from when the pair were high school sweethearts. In addition, she posted four other more up-to-date photos of the couple who have been married for 29 years. Korie and Willie have known each other since their elementary school years, and have been inseparable ever since.

She shared her favorite bible verse about love – 1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:4-7‬ – and hopes that everyone feels loved on Valentine’s Day.

“I’ve always read this scripture and knew this was the ideal for what love should look like. Oh, we loved each other, but to be honest, these two kids didn’t really have a clue what it meant to fully love like this when we first started out. We did our best, made all the mistakes, but we stayed in there and kept working towards the kind of love that these beautiful words describe. We’re still not perfect but I’m thankful to say our love looks a whole lot more like this after 29 years together!” Robertson wrote.

“Stay in there. Hold these words up as a mirror, do your best to look more like them everyday to your spouse, your kids, your friends, your neighbors and to yourself,” she added.

“Happy Valentine’s Day! Hope you feel loved today. You are loved by a God who IS love! Sending our love, as well❤️,” Robertson concluded.

Korie Robertson Records ‘Marriage Blessing’ for Valentine’s Day

On Saturday, Korie Robertson shared with her Instagram followers that she recorded a marriage blessing for Valentine’s Day.

She recently worked with the daily worship app Glorify to create the marriage blessing. The app specializes in daily devotionals and creating quick worship routines that are free to all. Additionally, the app reimagines how worshippers can connect with God through technology. Korie, her daughter, Sadie, and son-in-law, Christian Huff, are all founding partners of the Glorify app.

Robertson’s marriage blessing is a recording of her praying for a successful marriage. During her prayer, she spoke about what it takes for couples to have a healthy and successful marriage. Furthermore, she touches on how important love is for a successful relationship.

“I got to record a marriage blessing for Valentine’s Day on @glorifyappofficial,” Robertson wrote on Instagram. “I know you aren’t actually going out for Valentines this year, it’s freezing, we’re in a pandemic, and nothings open, 🥶🤷🏼‍♀️. Soooo, do something simple, cook together, play scrabble, turn up the music, dance in the living room, and don’t forget to hold hands with your hubby and ask for God’s blessings over your marriage!! link in my bio ❤️”
