‘Duck Dynasty’ Daughter Marries Her ‘Best Friend’
Bella posted on Instagram that it was the happiest day of her life.
“I was thankful for you yesterday, I am thankful for you today. And now I get to be thankful for you for the rest of my life!”
“I am blown away by God’s goodness and grace. @jacobdmayo let’s get married!! (Jacob) I love you forever,” she posted alongside a black-and-white photo of herself cuddled up with her honey.
The press has hounded Bella Robertson, 18, about her decision to marry at such a young age. But the Duck Dynasty daughter has always said that when you’ve found the right person everything falls into place.
The couple were friends for years and started dating when they began to have serious conversations about their futures. It turned out they had feelings for one another.
“I’d say I knew he was the one right when we started dating, but we’ve been friends for a long time,” Robertson said, according to Pop Culture. “I think a lot of people want to say, like, ‘Oh my gosh, they’ve only been dating for six months.’ But we have known each other for so long. And since quarantine is like dog years, we’ve been in quarantine the whole time we’ve been dating, and we’re together all the time.”
