The Duck Dynasty star revealed in her social media post that she had to so many girls who have told her she wants to start something but they’re afraid of what others will say and think. “Can I encourage you, friend? There is no fear or pressure on you in building the kingdom of God, but there is a lot of fear and pressure in trying to build an empire for yourself.”
Duck Dynasty’s Sadie then writes that we as humans are not called to build our own empires. But we are called to build God’s kingdom. She then noted that it’s not about you being good enough, well-spoken enough, smart enough, or just being enough. It’s about the fact that God gave you life so that you can be the light in the world.
The Duck Dynasty star also quoted Matthew 5:14-16, which states, “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket. But on a stand. And it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others. So that they may see your good works. And give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
Sadie goes on to add that you don’t have to be the best to make a massive impact. So, her friendly reminder is just go do what you want to do.

‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Sadie Robertson Huff Returns Home From the Hospital After Daughter’s Battle With RSV
Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson Huff’s daughter Honey recently had a bit of a health scare. The less than six-month-old was diagnosed with RSV, which is a respiratory virus. It is spread through close contact. Although the common respiratory virus usually causes mild, cold-like symptoms for adults and older children, it can actually be life-threatening to babies around Honey’s age.
Last week, the Duck Dynasty star revealed Honey’s unfortunate diagnosis. The baby girl was seen undergoing treatment with a nebulizer. The little one was also admitted to the hospital for a few days to help her get through the illness.
Days after she was admitted to the hospital, the Duck Dynasty star’s baby girl recovered from the virus and is now home. Sadie shared the exciting news by writing, “We are so so grateful! Thank you for everyone who prayed for us 💗 we truly did feel your prayers! We didn’t expect to come home today and so we are very happy. Thank you God!”
The Duck Dynasty star then adds that she is also praying for the parents who have kids in the hospital currently.
