‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Sadie Robertson Takes Daughter Honey to ‘the Market’ in Adorable Pic

On Sunday, Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson Huff, her baby girl, and a friend went shopping at a local market and marked the occasion with an adorable photo.

It was a ladies only kind of day for the trio of women. Sadie brought her infant daughter, Honey, along as she and a friend browsed through a tent full of honey-based products. The Huff family recently got away and went to the beach over the weekend. Sadie’s husband, Christian Huff, shared pics of their little family on the beach together on Saturday.

Wille and Korie Robertson‘s daughter didn’t share what beach they visited this go around. But in another post, she admitted their hours-long drive with a crying baby and whining dog wasn’t exactly ideal. Sadie, Honey, and their friend visited a market stand owned by the Register Family Farm. The veteran-owned, family-run bee farm in Northwest Florida is known for their tupelo honey.

Of course, considering her young daughter’s unique name, the ladies had to pose for the camera to remember the moment. Sadie is holding Honey on her chest with a baby carrier, and her friend is leaning in for the picture while appropriately holding a honey pot.

“Just some girls at the market,” the Duck Dynasty star wrote while adding an emoji with a cowboy hat.

‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Reveals Story Behind Her Daughter’s Name

Sadie and her husband are very aware that some people have questioned why the young parents named their daughter Honey. The Duck Dynasty star gave birth to their little girl a few months ago on May 11. A couple weeks prior to her birth, Sadie decided to get ahead of all the questions by explaining the origin of their daughter’s name.

“Gracious words are like HONEY, sweetness to the soul and health to the body. Proverbs‬ ‭16:24‬,” Sadie posted on Instagram.

“I’ve always loved this verse,” she continued. “It made me have a love for the idea of all that honey is. It’s a sweet delicacy with a strong healing component. When Christian and I started dating, we went through the book of Proverbs together, and I remember getting to chapter 16, and as I read verse 24, I said to him, ‘you have words like honey. They are so sweet and are healing places in my heart I didn’t even know needed to be healed.’”

Sadie Robertson and Christian Huff tied the knot back in 2019. However, the origin of Honey’s unique name predates their wedding vows. The name first came up during the couple’s first date. Additionally, Honey’s name is directly related to Robertson’s great-grandmother as well, which makes the name even more special.

“On our first date, we went to do pottery together, and on my cup, I simply wrote ‘honey’ because I called him the boy with the honey words,” she shared in another Instagram post. “Fast forward 2 and a half years later, and we have a daughter on the way who we so proudly get to name after one of the loveliest words. Not to mention this word reminds me of my great-grandma, who calls everyone she loves honey.”
