Most kids around the country are returning to school this week, and Duck Dynasty star Korie Robertson welcomed them back with some photos of her own children over the years on their first day back at school.

She posted a series of photos to Instagram, featuring the range of emotions most kids are feeling right now. For instance, notice the vast difference in excitement between Bella and her sister Sadie in the first photo.

“In honor of back-to-school a few of my faves through the years 😂 (I hope my kids don’t kill me for this, ha!!)

“Praying today for everyone going back to school in these coming weeks, for smooth transitions, healthy kids and teachers, good friendships made, joyful classrooms, growth in wisdom and knowledge, that we remember our call to ‘do everything in love’🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

“‘Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭16:13-14‬,” she captioned her photo slideshow.

It’s strange to realize Duck Dynasty fans have watched this family grow up for more than a decade. These kids are adults now, some with children of their own.

Korie Robertson: I Relied On God To Help Raise Kids

Korie Robertson told Focus on the Family that whenever she struggled as a parent, she turned to God.

“I think sometimes we lose that confidence and the Bible tells us to not lose our confidence. Because our confidence is in Him. He has given you those children. He has given you the tools and the things you need to help them,” she said in the 2017 interview.

Moreover, the most important thing a parent can do is help their children realize that God loves them more than anyone else will, she said.

“So, Think that we can take heart in that whatever mistakes we’ve made or whatever things that we’ve done that haven’t been the best for our children, our God loves them even more than we do. He is for them. He is with them. And He is in them.”

Korie Robertson added, however, that it’s important to be consistent with kids, which can be hard raising a family as part of a reality television show. There are constant upheaval and outside influences trying to worm their way into the family. Not to mention the natural rivalry between siblings. So, again, she reminded her kids that Duck Dynasty was less about the Robertson clan and more about the Robertsons’ love and celebration of God.

“So, we’re not gonna get our feelings hurt if somebody is on the show more or somebody gets to do this or someone gets this privilege or someone gets this,” she said.
