What do you do when you lose your phone charger? Duck Dynasty’s Sadie Robertson has a story that might change your perspective on what happens (and what you should do) when you can’t find important things. It may very well be in how you look and where you’re looking.
Robertson apparently loses her chargers like she “loses her socks.” When she was unable to find her phone charger this past week, she ended up using husband Christian’s. It became difficult for both to charger their phones up without one being dead. Therefore, Chris challenged his wife: “Okay, seriously – where is your charger?”
Of course, Robertson didn’t know. She believed Christian had it last, or maybe she left it on a trip. She didn’t really have much of an idea. So when her husband went to search for it, imagine her surprise when he said “Said…it’s literally plugged in right beside you.”
How Sadie’s story ended up championing her faith
Sadie took an opportunity with this story to share how she believes that sometimes if we believe we lose our faith or confidence, we look in the wrong places to find it.
“We never look where we last saw it… we never look where we are promised all of the things will be,” Sadie wrote. “But I guarantee you if we stopped and looked right beside us at Jesus you would see that all you need is right before you. All that you lost will be restored.”
Sadie has long been known to have strong faith that guides her in all that she does. Whether you agree with her way of life or not, it’s a good idea to take some time out of your day and think. Appreciate life. We only have one to live, and you never know how it’s going to end up.
And you might want to keep a spare set of phone chargers on hand, too.
