In one of the more interesting things on the internet today, it seems that the Duck Dynasty family has been hanging out with Tim Tebow.
The expected-to-be-signed Jacksonville Jaguar recently made a stop in Louisiana to visit the home of Willie and Korie Robertson. While there, Tebow and his wife Demi jumped on this week’s episode of “At Home with the Robertsons.” The series, which began back in April, features former Duck Dynasty stars Willie and Korie Robertson. The couple invites celebrity guests to their home to discuss various hot-button issues.
And on Monday, that guest was former NFL quarterback and current tight end, Tim Tebow. Tebow and his wife talked about faith, love, and abstinence with the Duck Dynasty during this week’s episode.
“Loved having @timtebow and @developd17mitebow hang with us at @campchyoca for today’s episode of #athomewiththerobertsons,” Korie wrote on Instagram. “We love them so much!! I can’t think of a better couple to give newlywed advice to @bellarobb and @jacobdmayo than these two. They are bursting with love and wisdom! So many encouraging comments on the episode already about building a marriage that lasts! If you have any advice for the soon-to-be-married couple feel free to share!”
But the crew didn’t just record a podcast together. The Tebows and the Robertsons from Duck Dynasty made their way to the badminton court to play a few matches.
“Also, a little-known fact, @realwilliebosshog was intramural badminton champ 🏆 in college so he thought he’d found the sport he could beat @timtebow in. In case you’re wondering if Tim is as athletic and competitive as he looks, and @demitebow is as beautiful as she looks, yes they are 😄As always thank you so much for watching and for loving and cheering on our family ❤️”
Tim Tebow Tells ‘Duck Dynasty’ Family That He ‘Wants to be Respected’
Not only does Tim Tebow discuss faith, love, and give advice to Bella Robertson about her upcoming marriage, the former NFL star also opens up to the Duck Dynasty family about “wanting to be respected.”
While playing quarterback at the University of Florida, Tebow won a Heisman Trophy and two national championships. As a result, he became one of the most well-known players in college football history. Not long after the Denver Broncos selected him in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
But things didn’t quite go as planned and before long, he was out of the NFL altogether. Now, he is getting a second chance with the Jacksonville Jaguars as a tight end. He will also reunite with his college coach, Urban Meyer.
We all know one thing that Tim Tebow and the Duck Dynasty family have in common: they are all devout and outspoken Christians. Tim Tebow is hoping that his beliefs off the field, and his game on the field, can earn the respect of Jacksonville fans.
