He additionally saw several other dynamic milestones. The actor’s latest film debuted in the form of Netflix’s new movie, “Red Notice.” Not long after its debut, the film saw immediate success. We can assume a major contributor comes as a result of the movie’s leading cast featuring, of course, Dwayne Johnson, as well as Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot.

Overall, the trio’s onscreen performance was dynamic, hilarious, and well-received. However, we’ve learned Gadot and Reynolds didn’t only compliment Johnson as a Hollywood actor.

According to People magazine, filming for “Red Notice” began on the very day Dwayne Johnson’s father passed away. Johnson’s father was iconic professional wrestler Rocky Johnson. Following the news, Dwayne Johnson immediately left the set of the Netflix film to be home with his family.

Of course, this would have posed challenges in beginning filming for the new film. However, when Johnson returned to shoot for “Red Notice,” he experienced nothing but love and compassion from his costars.

‘Red Notice’ Serves as Johnson’s Platform for Healing

In speaking with People, The Rock said, “The moment I walked in the door, Ryan gave me a big hug and said, ‘I got you, man.'”

According to the outlet, despite the celebrities’ opposing appearances, comedic decisions, and acting styles, Johnson and Reynolds have been best friends for more than 20 years.

At the same time, Johnson also revealed that Gal Gadot was also crucial in uplifting his spirits. “Gal is always taking care of the people around her,” Johnson shared, “and has the most positive presence.”

So “Red Notice” served as another hallmark addition to Johnson’s acting career. Although, it appears his time on set was also significant in his healing process.

Dwayne Johnson & Costars Sees Major Success on ‘Red Notice’

On a lighter note, Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot saw major success with the debut of “Red Notice.”

Overall, the movie resounded positively among fans. However, the brand new film also marked a historic and memorable first for Netflix. As such, it appears Dwayne Johnson is more than grateful for the response to “Red Notice.”

In a post, Johnson revealed “Red Notice” earned the title of the Biggest Opening Day in Netflix history. He stated, “RED NOTICE shattered opening day records for NETFLIX around the world…With an outstanding 92% AUDIENCE SCORE.”

As such, the milestone will surely be a memorable one for the Hollywood star. However, as always, Dwayne Johnson appealed to fans’ heartstrings, always grateful to families worldwide.

While the success of “Red Notice” was crucial for Johnson’s production company as its first streaming platform deliverable, Johnson shared, “more importantly[–]we delivered for you and your families worldwide.”
