Ellen DeGeneres shared a rare moment with her Instagram followers of a photo of the star relaxing with her feet up. DeGeneres, the star of her own talk show The Ellen DeGeneres Show and game show Game of Games, lays back on her outdoor leather sofa. With her feet propped up on a stone table and a content smile on her face, you. can almost hear the celebrity say “Aaaah.”
On the end table beside her, DeGeneres has poured herself some red wine in a classy, stemless glass. And her matching Navy blue outfit tells us she’s in her comfy clothes. More than just an appreciation for self-care, the photo demonstrates DeGeneres impeccable taste for interior (or in this case, exterior) design with rustic, earthy elements that make the home feel like a yoga retreat center.
Joining DeGeneres in her moment of R&R are her two dogs. The pups seem just as thrilled to lounge on the sofa with their favorite human as they already appear fast asleep. With such a welcoming environment and companions, it’s no wonder DeGeneres looks so peaceful.
Ellen DeGeneres Welcomed a New Family Member
Among the two furry friends sitting with star Ellen DeGeneres, the one curled up comfortably beside her human is two-year-old poodle, Mrs. Wallis Browning. When Mrs. Walling Browning first became a part of the DeGeneres family, her celebrity owner couldn’t be any happier. In fact, DeGeneres even shared the news on her talk show. She also put together a slideshow with photos of her new family member.
“I’m so excited, I can’t even tell you how excited I am, and I’m talking fast because I’m excited; because I want to tell you something exciting,” DeGeneres shared just a few days after bringing the poodle home. “So we rescued a puppy. She’s brand new — that’s what puppy means. We got her from a wonderful rescue place, it’s called Wagmor.”
Her other pup, Kid, could have done without the new addition to the crew. But from the photo DeGeneres shared, it seems the two dogs have become good friends as they share the sofa.
Before Mrs. Wallis Browning thankfully met Ellen DeGeneres, she lived in unfortunate conditions.
“Wallis is 3 months old and she unfortunately was with some irresponsible people — she was kept in a cage outside in the desert since she was 2 months old, just on the ground in a cage,” Degeneres reported. “So she was never able to run, she never had a toy, she never wagged her tail, she never lived next door to Oprah.”
But of course, that’s all changed now and the poodle lives an envious life with her favorite human.
