Festival season is coming back in full effect.

After a year away from concerts, shows, and festivals due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, entertainers are getting back into the swing of things. Festivals and shows must still follow COVID-19 protocols, however.

While Elvis Presley himself can’t make an appearance, the Elvis Tupelo Festival will channel the excitement, talent, and fans that are so connected to The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.

Now fans of Elvis, or good music in general, can mark their calendars for the upcoming summer festival. The festival will take place from June 9 to June 13. While the festival will be amidst the warmth, good weather, and crowds of people, anyone can buy virtual tickets. Buy a virtual ticket, here.

Performers and Hosts of the Elvis Presley Tupelo Festival

The host of the upcoming festival is Tom Brown. He has been hosting the event for 11 consecutive years.

For fans of Elvis Presley, you may recognize Brown for his various connections to Presley’s legacy. Brown has been the host for Graceland’s Elvis Weeks for 16 years. During this annual week, Brown interviews old band members, family members, and co-stars of Presley.

On top of that, Brown is the host of the Gates of Graceland YouTube series for Elvis Presley Estates. Here he shares the various rooms and memories that are connected to the Graceland mansion, which is where Presley lived up until his death. From wallets to banana pudding recipes to his mother’s room, the YouTube channel really goes into detail.

Jeff Lewis, a Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter will be the after-party host.

Probably the most important part of the event is the performers. There is a massive lineup of different Elvis Presley impersonators looking to take the stage. One of the most popular is Ben Thompson. He tours all around the world as Elvis Presley — from the United Kingdom to America to Australia to The Netherlands.

His most interesting fun fact is that he played Elvis in “Bladerunner 2049” alongside Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling. Other Elvis impersonators at the event include Bill Cherry, Brandon Bennett, Cody Ray Slaughter, Cote Deonath, David Lee, and Dean Z.

Schedule and Buying Tickets

There’s a lot to look forward to for the upcoming festival.

The first day of the festival will kick off with the “Together Again Opening Night Showcase.” It will feature Tom Brown as well as a scheduled list of performers. That night will be the “Jeff Lewis & Friends After Party,” which is sold out.

Other events for the festival include a “Running with the King 5K” on June 12, a UETA Competition that stretches several days, several concerts, and even a “Food Truck Friday.”

The festival ends with a sold out brunch on Sunday, June 13. There is also a Gospel concert that afternoon.
