Fans of Yellowstone are trying to piece together clues following season three’s finale.
Though adhering to strict COVID-19 measures, the Yellowstone cast and crew are full go at their Montana filming location. The series is eyeing a summer 2021 date to premiere its highly anticipated fourth installment, according to Express.
Fans called the season three cliffhanging finale a “shocker.” The fates of some main characters remain in question. Most fans believe John Dutton, played by Kevin Costner, will survive a shooting while attempting to help a motorist on the side of the road.
Beth and Kayce Dutton, John’s children, are also attacked and their statuses for season four are unknown. After a season of shocking twists, some fans are convinced Jamie Dutton, John’s adopted son, is behind the attacks. Others are pointing fingers at Jamie’s biological Father Garrett Randall or rival rancher Roarke Morris as culprits.
Season Four Speculation
Fans are scouring the internet for clues regarding the fate of the Duttons. A Reddit poster has some Yellowstone watchers believing the Duttons are alive and well entering into the fourth season. The post from redditor boogaloobrigadier claims to have a source working on the Yellowstone set.
“So I have a friend who is actually an extra on set for season 4,” the poster says. “By the way if you live in Montana, you can still sign up to be an extra.”
Neither Paramount officials nor Yellowstone Showrunner Taylor Sheridan have confirmed the rumors.
Whoever is behind the attacks, fans anxiously await the next edition of their favorite show.
