After enjoying his own birthday recently, Jason Statham has even more to celebrate. The “Fast & Furious” star and his longtime fiancée, model Rosie Huntington-Whitely, have another child on the way. Huntington-Whitely announced the good news in a post on Instagram.
She did it cleverly as well. In a series of pictures that she appears to have taken over a few weeks, she looked stunning in several loose-fitting outfits. Swipe all the way to the final picture, however, and you will be rewarded with an adorable baby bump.
The news was met with thousands of well-wishes from fellow models, actors, and fans alike. They left comments to offer their congratulations to Rose and Jason Statham.
The couple’s first son, Jack Oscar Statham, was born in 2017. Jack came along barely a year after the happy couple first got engaged. An engagement, that while happy, has lasted for more than four years and continues to this day.
The fact that Jason Statham and Rosie Huntington-Whitely have a second child on the way would indicate that they’re in a good place with their relationship, despite the enduring engagement.
And the two are certainly a good fit for each other. While some may point to the significant age difference between them, they’re both high-profile celebrities who have a surprising amount of overlap in their careers. Rosie Huntington-Whitely is more than a Victoria’s Secret model, though that is quite the achievement in itself.
She’s a talented actress as well. In fact, Jason Statham and her began dating around the time she landed her first major role. It was as Carly, Shia Labeouf’s love interest in the 2011 blockbuster “Transformers: Dark of the Moon.” She also starred in “Mad Max: Fury Road” in 2015.
Jason Statham is One of the Most Prolific Action Stars of All Time
Rosie Huntington-Whitely proved she could hang with her husband, starring action flicks that featured massive budgets and memorable stunts. But Jason Statham is fast becoming one of the most credited action movie stars to ever appear on the screen.
At 54 years old, Statham remains poised to star in a handful of some of the biggest action movies over the coming years. Why? Because of the way he’s positioned himself in multiple franchises. Joining the “Fast & Furious” cast as Deckard Shaw in 2013, Statham has starred in four of the franchise’s films. With a 10th installment around the corner, perhaps we’ll see him in the series once again.
Beyond that, there’s “The Expendables” franchise with Sylvester Stallone and an assortment of the biggest names in action movies. Since 2010, he has appeared in three of the franchise’s movies, and again, with another rumored, he can add even more to his legacy.
