The hit CBS series “FBI: Most Wanted” is losing one of its main characters ahead of its Season 3 debut this fall.

A spokesperson for CBS confirmed to TV Line that Clinton Skye’s “special assignment” is coming to an end. Actor Nathaniel Arcand alluded to his departure from the show in a recent Instagram post. He shared a personal photo with the caption, “Moving forward/Don’t look back. Must. Say. Bye. Bye.”

“FBI: Most Wanted” is a police procedural drama series that follows the day-to-day lives of agents assigned to the Bureau’s Fugitive Task Force. These agents are often assigned to high-profile targets on the FBI’s Most Wanted lists.

The team is led by agent Jess LaCroix, played by Julian McMahon. Special Agent Skye is one of LaCroix’s most seasoned teammates. He’s also a deadly marksman and a trained lawyer. If that’s not complicated enough, Skye is also LaCroix’s brother-in-law and the uncle of LaCroix’s daughter, Talia.

Agent Skye appeared in the first three episodes of Season 2, but has been on “special assignment” since then.

“FBI: Most Wanted” Lands an Indie Star

Although “FBI: Most Wanted” is Arcand’s biggest television role, he is also an accomplished independent film star.

Throughout his career, Arcand has collected over 80 acting credits, according to IMDb.

Before appearing in the CBS drama, Arcand appeared in a plethora of small television series. For example, he played Jimmy McLeod in the “Murdoch Mysteries” series. He also played Avo in “Longmire,” according to IMDb. However, Arcand has also made appearances in cult classics such as “Heartland” and “Bull.”

Success After Landing on “FBI”

Since appearing on “FBI,” Arcand has filmed several appearances in movies and other television series.

While filming “FBI: Most Wanted” in 2020, he also made time to appear in the movie Portraits From a Fire as Gord.

In 2021, Arcand will appear in a television movie called The Baker’s Son as Lyle, and also in the television series “Kung Fu” as Hank. “Kung Fu” is a reboot of the original series from the 1970s. It airs on The CW.

Arcand is also currently busy juggling several projects. According to IMDB, he has completed filming the movie Kiri and the Girl where he appears as the character Wolf. Another project, this time a short film, is also in post-production. The movie is called Tipping Point and Arcand appears as the role of Captain.

Another television series and movie are also in pre-production while Arcand is currently filming a movie called Killers of the Flower Moon. Arcand appears as the Ancestor-Warrior.
