Baltimore Ravens offensive guard D.J. Fluker is accusing his ex-girlfriend of kidnapping their daughter.
Per TMZ Sports, Fluker now believes the situation could get even worse. Fluker, who stands at 6’5″ and weighs 340 pound, reportedly told law enforcement that he fears for his and his daughter’s safety.
“I don’t feel safe during this time,” he reportedly told police, according to the Baltimore Sun.
Kimberly Davis, Fluker’s former partner, now faces kidnapping charges. She is also accused of assaulting the NFL player in a separate incident.
Davis was supposed to have a supervised visit with their child and Fluker’s sister on Sept. 19 while the lineman was in Houston for a football game.
According to Fluker’s complaint, Davis allegedly kicked Fluker’s sister out of the home and refused to relinquish the child upon his return. The complaint states that Fluker told Davis that she did not have permission to keep the child overnight but she still would not return the child.
The incident resulted in Fluker contacting authorities to take action.
Davis now faces a charge of kidnapping a child under the age of 16. If convicted, she could face up to 30 days behind bars and a $250 fine.
According to TMZ Sports‘ report, Davis was arrested earlier this year after allegedly punching Fluker in the face. She faces second-degree assault for the incident.
Fluker was a first-round draft pick from Alabama in 2013. Along with the Ravens, he has also spent time with the Chargers, Giants, and Seahawks.
