It’s no secret that 2020’s cutest couple, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, are head-over-heels in love. They’ve proven they’re in it for the long haul after they got engaged earlier this fall.

Besides an engagement, they also surprised fans with two hit duets in which the lovebirds sing about being smitten with each other on “Nobody But You” and “Happy Anywhere.”

Following the engagement, they’ve only gotten more infatuated with each other. In an interview with Apple Music, Stefani revealed what she loves most about her fiancé.

“Gosh, it’s hard not to like almost everything about Blake Shelton,” she gushed. “I said ‘almost’ only because it would be silly to be like, ‘I like everything about Blake.’ No one’s perfect, of course.”

Gwen Stefani on Blake Shelton: “He’s My Homie”

Stefani continued talking about her better half, this time being more specific in describing what she loves about her fiancé. “He’s just a very generous, generous guy,” she added. “He’s full of love and generosity … and he’s a smart, smart guy as well. So you feel safe: You can lean on him and trust him.”

Stefani elaborated, saying, “He’s an artist, but he has a lot of different sides to him snd his true love is just of nature and of just being at that ranch. He loves animals, and he knows every single name of every salamander and every tree and every bush. It’s like, ‘How do you know all this stuff?!'”

As the former No Doubt singer works on a new album, Stefani says that she leans on Shelton for advice on artistic decisions. “He’s so good at knowing what songs are good,” she declared, explaining that it was Shelton who suggested that her song “Let Me Reintroduce Myself” should be her first single off her upcoming album.

Stefani revealed that more than anything, what she loves about the country music singer is having him as a partner and best friend.

“He’s my best friend. We tell each other everything. I don’t want to do anything without him,” she says. “He’s my homie.”
