Former No Doubt lead singer and pop music superstar Gwen Stefani has really big plans for the new year. Those big plans involve both her professional and private life.
Stefani will wed superstar country music singer Blake Shelton as some point in the new year. The pair became friends while both serving as coaches on the popular television talent competition “The Voice.” That friendship blossomed into to a five year romance that they plan to culminate with a 2021 wedding. Though they don’t have an official date for their wedding, the musically inclined couple have a location for their ceremony. They will get married in a small chapel built by Shelton at his Oklahoma ranch.
Stefani also plans to hit the scene early in the next year with her brand new music video debuting on Friday, Jan. 1. “Let Me Reintroduce Myself” is a long-awaited new offering for the ultra-talented vocalist. Fans have been waiting a long time to hear new music from the “Holla Back Girl” and “Just a Girl” singer. In fact, it’s been several years since Stefani put out a pop track (that wasn’t a Christmas song).
On Thursday, the very last day of 2020, Stefani put out a teaser video on social media to the delight of her fans. The video highlights some of her greatest hits but makes clear that Stefani is “reintroducing” her self to the public.
“Let Me Reintroduce Myself music video…out tomorrow at 8 a.m. PT,” the Instagram post proclaims.
Stefani’s fans are clearly excited for the album and music video with many proclaiming she will “save us” from 2020. The video received more 93,000 views in under three hours of it going live on Instagram.
The singer also put a “countdown” video on YouTube so that fans know exactly when they will be able to watch the video.
