It turns out that country music star Blake Shelton is not a big fan of the camera. But that doesn’t stop his wife, Gwen Stefani, from posting photos of herself.
Life is pretty dang good right now for both Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. The two music stars officially tied the knot back on July 3. The happy couple kept their wedding small, however. That news did come as a little bit of a surprise to some fans, given the high-profile status of both Shelton and Stefani. There were roughly 40 family members and friends who made the trip out to Shelton’s ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma for the ceremony. That number even includes Stefani’s three sons who she shares with her ex, Gavin Rossdale. Her sons are Kingston, 15, Zuma, 12, and Apollo, 7.
And while we were able to catch a few of Shelton and Stefani’s gorgeous wedding photos, there weren’t quite as many as you would expect. The reason for that could be that Blake Shelton simply is not a big fan of taking pictures. His new wife explained as much in her most recent post on social media. She posted a photo of herself rocking a sheer silver dress, and let us be the first to say that she looks absolutely stunning.
“@blakeshelton next time I get to wear a pretty dress will u take a picture with me? gx #picturetakerhater”
Gwen Stefani Fans Comment on Her Latest Photo
Fans of the pop star thought her picture caption was pretty funny. Calling out her new husband for not wanting to take pictures with her? It definitely sounds like Gwen Stefani and it most certainly sounds like Blake Shelton.
But if Blake Shelton doesn’t want to step up to the plate, he may have some competition here soon. Stefani had multiple people say they would volunteer to be in a picture with her if Shelton doesn’t like pictures.
“If he doesn’t want to I’ll happily volunteer,” one fan was quick to say.
Another follower straight up tagged Shelton in a comment, telling him he’d better listen to his wife.
“Yeah, @blakeshelton. What she said!” they wrote.
Paris Hilton even commented on Stefani’s photo, leaving multiple heart-face emojis.
And finally, one fan made their way to the comments section to defend Shelton’s picture-hating stance. They argued that Shelton is just a “country boy.” And that he might not like taking pictures, but he’d give her the shirt off his back if she needed it.
“Hey Gwen. Just wanted to say congratulations on finding your soulmate. From the stories I have heard he is a good ol’ country boy that would give you the shirt off his back. I have never met him but I can tell he is perfect for you. Again congratulations.”
