While Jane Seymour celebrates another birthday, we are just wondering where she keeps her Fountain of Youth potion because this woman is not 70.

Despite her youthful appearance, it is true. Actress Jane Seymour turns 70-year-old today. Let’s revisit some of her best moments.

On February 15, 1951, Joyce Penelope Wilhelmina Frankenberg was born in Middlesex, England. Although, we prefer the name Jane Seymour way more. It just rolls off the tongue better.

She chose the new name after the English queen and the favorite of King Henry VIII’s wives.

The actress was married four times, with the last marriage to James Keach ending in 2015. From those marriages, Seymour has four children, 39-year-old Katherine Flynn, 35-year-old Sean Flynn, and 25-year-old twins, Kristopher Steven Keach and John Stacy Keach.

Jane Seymour’s Professional Career

Jane Seymour is best known for her roles in movies such as Live and Let Die in 1973, Somewhere in Time in 1980, the 1981 film East of Eden, and The Scarlet Pimpernel the following year.

During an interview with Playboy, Seymour revealed that she took a brief break from Hollywood in the 1970s due to being sexually harassed by a producer.

She also is applauded for her performance on Onassis: The Richest Man in the World in 1988, War and Remembrance the same year, La Révolution Française in 1989, the 2005 comedy Wedding Crashers, and the television series Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, which lasted from 1993 until 1998.

However, Jane Seymour has starred in at least 52 films throughout her 50 years in the entertainment industry.

In addition, Jane Seymour has won one Emmy Award and two Golden Globe Awards. She also has a star along the Hollywood walk of fame. Another esteemed honor was bestowed upon Seymour in 2000 when she was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire.

Jane Seymour is known for being the oldest woman photographed by Playboy. In February of 2018, she posed for the magazine for the third time at the age of 67.

Due to her family’s heritage, Jane Seymour is fluent in English, Dutch, and French.

Along with her time on the big screen, Seymour uses her platform as a celebrity ambassador for a nonprofit called Childhelp. The charity is dedicated to helping victims of child abuse and neglect.

The multifaceted actor also has written numerous books and has ties to the fashion industry, because, duh! She is gorgeous!
