Social media has made the world a much smaller place over the past decade. At the same time, it allows celebrities of all stripes to share their passions and fandoms with their fans. Sometimes, we even get to see some of our favorite stars interact. In that aspect, social media is a great thing. This is especially true when those stars are seemingly unrelated. Recently, former Happy Days star and all-around good guy Henry Winkler shared his enthusiasm for one of his favorite singers and authors with his Twitter followers.

Henry Winkler is a big fan of singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile. In fact, the Happy Days star told The Chicago Tribune that he wishes he could meld her singing voice into this his in a 2018 interview. So, when Carlile posted her latest achievement on Twitter, Winkler took the opportunity to congratulate her.

Yesterday, Bradi Carlile posted a video of the moment she found out that she was at the top of the New York Times Best Seller list. Her memoir Broken Horses put her on that list. Henry Winkler was quick to take notice. He sent a simple yet heartfelt note of congratulations by way of a quote tweet.

Henry Winkler Has Great Taste

Henry Winkler is several things. He’s a great actor. At the same time, he was the driving force behind making The Fonz so cool. As a result, he helped Happy Days become a television classic. He’s an author as well. Henry writes children’s books about a boy with dyslexia. Through his literature, he hopes to inspire children who suffer from the same learning disorder that plagued him in his early life. It turns out that The Fonz also has great taste in music.

Brandi Carlile is an astounding artist. She has released six studio albums since 2005. Carlile is a singer, songwriter, and producer. Not only has she worked on her own material but she also worked with Tanya Tucker. Carlile served as producer on Tucker’s 2019 album While I’m Livin’. That album took home the Grammy for Best Country Album.

Some country fans may be more familiar with Bradi Carlile’s work as part of the female supergroup The Highwomen. They took home the Best Country Song Grammy this year for, “Crowded Table.”

All told, Brandi Carlile has six Grammy Awards under her belt. So, it seems that Henry Winkler isn’t the only one taking notice of her considerable talent.

Her latest achievement comes from a book that may be the most personal piece of work she has ever released. Broken Horses looks back at the life events that shaped Carlile as a person as well as an artist. In the pages, she pulls back the veil to show all of her major moments both good and bad.
