Is ‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ Airing a New Episode Tonight?

NCIS: Hawai’i typically airs new episodes every Monday night at 10/9 Central, but is tonight any different since we’re so close to a holiday?

Unfortunately for any excited fans, yes. The brand new NCIS spinoff will not be airing any new episode today. Fans will have to wait until next week on Monday, November 29th for the show, and its flagship NCIS, to return.

NCIS: Hawai’i is one of the many series taking a break this week as Thanksgiving approaches. Most are coming back for a couple of episodes in December before mid-season finales. Luckily for NCIS: Hawai’i fans, CBS ordered a full season, so there’s still plenty of episodes slated for this year.

You can still watch NCIS: Hawai’i tonight, however. But they’ll be playing a re-run of an episode called Paniolo. Paniolo takes a look at the Hawai’ian cowboy community.

‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ Recently Highlighted a Budding Relationship on the Series

The show has to promote on break. And when they aren’t giving shoutouts to all the Scorpio actors on set, they’re highlighting a new relationship on the series between agent Lucy Tara and Kate Whistler over on Instagram. The two had a rocky on again off again semi-relationship for the first six episodes.

But in episode 7, the two decided to give their relationship a shot in secret. The two make a super interesting pair. Lucy is very outgoing and a bit of a free spirit. Whistler, however, is very dedicated to her duties and intense. Let’s just stay, when Lucy asked Whistler to go to a rock n’ roll bowling night together, it was pretty obvious that Whistler would not enjoy that.

Still, the two are a definite case of opposites attracting, and fans are excited to see where they are going to go from here. They have a lot of obstacles to deal with and hiding your relationship only works for so long.

Lucy and Kate aren’t the only people trying their shot at romance. We also have the absolutely adorably awkward Captain Joe Milius, who tried asking out Jane Tennant. But Tennant worried about how it would look for her to date someone technically above her in rank, so she politely declined.

The episode description for the next episode, however, indicates that Tennant may change her mind. Considering how much fans love Joe, they’re rooting for those two. But Tennant dating Joe may complicate her career a bit. She already has a packed schedule with a full-time job and kids to take care of.

The next episode should spotlight both relationships and feature a doozy of a case focused on financial disparity and land conservation. Not to mention, a fan-favorite actor from Supernatural is joining, so it should be totally worth the wait.
