The boys of “Jackass” are back!

Paramount recently released the first trailer for Jackass Forever, which sees Johnny Knoxville and his boys make their return to the popular franchise made famous in the early 2000s. The film will also mark the first time the gang has appeared together since the death of Ryan Dunn.

Fans will see Knoxville alongside Dave England, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Danger Ehren, Preston Lacy, and Jason “Wee Man” Acuña. Guest cameos will also include skating legend Tony Hawk and UFC champion Francis Ngannou.

Knoxville also sadly confirmed that this would be the last time he joins his Jackass crew on a movie. “You can only take so many chances before something irreversible happens,” he said in an interview. “I feel like I’ve been extremely lucky to take the chances I’ve taken and still be walking around.”

The film is based on the wildly popular MTV show that debuted 20 years ago in October 2000. Immediately, it became a hit as viewers were amazed at the lengths the cast would go to for their pranks. The official synopsis for Jackass Forever reads as follows:

“Celebrating the joy of being back together with your best friends and a perfectly executed shot to the dingdong, the original jackass crew return for another round of hilarious, wildly absurd, and often dangerous displays of comedy with a bit of help from some exciting new cast. Johnny and the team push the envelope even further on October 22 in Jackass Forever.”

Since its birth, the franchise has been a source of dumb gaffs, hilarious wincing, and disgust— and from the trailer, it looks like we’re bound to get the same themes in the movie.

The film also looks as if it will have a nostalgic touch that includes archival footage from its early days that highlight the friendship the cast made along the way.

Additionally, Johnny Knoxville has been open about how challenging it was to make the film. According to the film’s trailer, he isn’t wrong.

In addition to the original cast members, Odd Future friends such as Jasper and Tyler the Creator also get in on the hijinks with the boys.

If you’re familiar with their Adult Swim show, “Loiter Squad,” you know that the gang also likes to partake in juvenile pranks and hilarious goofs. Their show also featured most of the Jackass squad and was produced by Jackass co-creator Jeff Tremaine and frequent series camera operator Lance Bangs.

As for Jackass Forever, hopefully, it will act as a heartwarming (probably puke-inducing) sendoff for the beloved franchise. Jackass Forever will hit theaters nationwide on October 22. Check out the trailer for the movie below.
