Bam Margera downplayed his recent trip to rehab as his family overreacting to photos of him drinking at a casino. But a recently released 911 call says that the former MTV star attacked a woman while high in a hotel room. Margera denies these allegations.

An unidentified man called Florida police around 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 26 and claimed Bam Margera was in a hotel room with two women, Page Six reported. The caller said the people in the room were doing cocaine — though he didn’t specify if Margera was using the drug — when the former Jackass star attacked one of the women.

“He attacked her, grabbed her breast, and she said she thinks he tore her implant,” the caller said.

The caller said Margera’s minder informed him of the alleged attack. When the 911 operator asked if Margera was high, the caller responded “Absolutely, there’s no question about it. He’s really highly intoxicated.”

The caller added he believed Margera was in the middle of a “severe psychosis.”

“He’s been diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenic, he’s been diagnosed as Bipolar, he’s got a long history of mental illness,” they said. “He’s escaped from three treatment centers in the last two months.”

Sheriff’s deputies picked up Bam Margera from the Don Cesar hotel and casino after receiving the 911 call. He had an outstanding order to attend rehab, TMZ reported.

Bam Margera gave a much different explanation of events to TMZ earlier this month. He claimed that his family called police after fans posted photos of him at the casino with what appeared to be a drink in his hand. He claims they overreacted and contacted the police.

Bam Margera Rep: 911 Call is ‘Demonstrably and Utterly False’

A representative for Bam Margera said the 911 call wasn’t true. And they believe it came from someone “with an axe to grind” against him.

“The initial reports of Bam Margera’s arrest were reasonably correct. The 911 call is demonstrably and utterly false,” a statement to Page Six said. “Bam was with his aunt in the hotel room. She is a 65-year-old woman, who is clean and sober. The police escorted Bam back to rehab and made no charges whatsoever against him, which demonstrates that the caller who made this claim made a false statement to police.”

The statement speculated that the call likely came from someone involved in his lawsuit against Paramount Picture Studios. Producers fired Margera from Jackass Forever for failing a drug test. He is suing his former co-stars and friends over the firing.

“… There are multi-million dollars at stake because of the abuse Bam faced at the hands of Paramount, and his supposed friends Johnny Knoxville, Spike Jonze, Jeff Tremaine, and others,” the statement continued. “We are investigating these false allegations and false statements made in the police report, and are considering taking action as we learn more against the perpetrator of this false and defamatory report.”

Margera has been in and out of rehabs over the last several recent years.

Jeff Tremaine, one of the creators of Jackass and a producer on the film, recently won a three-year restraining order against Margera. Tremaine showed text messages Margera allegedly sent threatening to harm him, his wife, and their children.
