Jay Cutler Celebrates Thanksgiving With Carrie Underwood and Family

It looks like Jay Cutler had a pretty good Thanksgiving this year.

The former quarterback for the NFL, primarily the Chicago Bears, hunkered down with Carrie Underwood and her family this year.

On Instagram, Cutler showed off the selection of food he had in front of him. It started off with a large turkey hanging over a pot of oil. Other foods appear to be mac ‘n’ cheese, various kinds of casseroles, corn, cranberry sauce, and other dishes.

In the background, you can hear what is probably one of Underwood’s kids Isaiah or Jacob saying, “That is yummy stuff.”

Cutler received some slight joking criticism of his filming skills. One commenter said, “My man filmed this with an iPotato 4s,” while another said, “Your film skills bout as good as your qb skills.”

However, it appears his friend Zach Miller, tight end for the Bears, was just hoping Cutler would save him a plate.

Cutler and Cavallari Split

Carrie Underwood and Cutler are friends and Nashville neighbors. However, it seems like the Thanksgiving plans may have taken a turn from what they originally were.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Kristin Cavallari, Cutler’s ex-wife, actress, and fashion designer, said that Thanksgiving would be just her, the kids, and Cutler.

“I know that the kids are our No. 1 priority. So, spending the first Thanksgiving together [after our split] is important because it’s what’s best for the kids and we’re able to do that,” the designer explained. “We’re in a solid enough place that we’re able to do that, and I’m really thankful for that.”

The pair split after 10 years together. They have three kids: Camden, Saylor, and Jaxon.

Despite the original plans for Thanksgiving, it looks like both still had a share-worthy day.
