The Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions is coming to a close. Some of the quiz show’s biggest winners from the past year have worked hard to get to the top of the heap. Tonight, that hard work will pay off for one contestant in a big way. Tonight’s winner will walk away with a quarter of a million dollars as well as some serious bragging rights.

The Tournament of Champions has been a wild ride for the Jeopardy! champs. Some moments sparked outrage across the internet. However, there were some truly heartwarming moments as well. For instance, one contestant didn’t take home the big win. On the other hand, he did walk away with a brand new bride-to-be after he proposed on the show. So, he may be the biggest winner of all.

It all comes down to one night, though. So, let’s look at everything you need to know about the final round of the Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions.

What To Know About The Jeopardy! Tournament Of Champions Final

First off, let’s take a look at tonight’s contestants. They are three of the fifteen highest-scoring winners since the TOC last took place in 2019. To say the competition is stiff is an extreme understatement. One of these Jeopardy! champs are going to walk away with $250k and the knowledge that they are this year’s true champion.

We have Veronica Vichit-Vadakan, the librarian from Portland, Oregon. Currently, Veronica is holding a total of $6,400. Then there’s Jennifer Quail. She is a wine tasting consultant who hails from Dowagiac, Michigan. She’s currently sitting on a grand total of $14,500. Finally, we have Sam Kavanaugh, a teacher who is originally from Carlton, Minnesota. As far as money goes, the teacher is sitting at the top. Sam has $38k in his Jeopardy! bank going into the Tournament of Champions finale.

Now, let’s take a moment to give a nod to the Tournament of Champions host, Buzzy Cohen. He is a Champion in his own right. Buzzy had a winning streak about five years ago. He isn’t just a Jeopardy! winner. He proved that in his own TOC showing when he took home the grand prize. On top of all that, Cohen has been an amazing host. His performance during the tournament has led fans all across the world to clamor for Cohen to take over for the late Alex Trebek.
