Tuesday brought another highly-contested matchup on the popular game show “Jeopardy!” as contestants engage in intellectual battle.

Fans of “Jeopardy!” are getting excited as we now have a contestant who is on a nice hot streak and looking for more. Contestant Katie Sekelsky, a graphic designer from Kent, Ohio, has taken the last three episodes. Her three-game winning streak is garnering much fanfare from “Jeopardy!” fans, who love a good hot streak. Katie began her winning streak on Monday, which also happened to be the debut of new guest host, Savannah Guthrie. The Ohio native has won her matches in convincing fashion and Wednesday’s episode was no different. The show took to social media to ask fans if they could solve yesterday’s Final Jeopardy! clue. Katie came through with the correct answer to secure her third victory in a row and is set to appear once again on today’s episode (Thursday).

“That is three wins in a row for Katie!” the Instagram post proudly proclaims.

The Final Jeopardy! clue asks contestants to correctly name one of the most famous females in history by her residencies. Think you can come up with the correct answer like the reigning champion Katie did?

“During her second marriage, she split her time among homes in New York, New Jersey, Paris, Greece and a Yacht,” the clue states.

“Who is Jackie Kennedy Onassis?” is the correct answer to the Final Jeopardy! clue.

‘Jeopardy!’ Fans Get Final Clue Correct

Several social media users and “Jeopardy!” fans were able to correctly guess Jackie O as the right answer. The former First Lady of the United States was the wife of former President John F. Kennedy. Along with serving as First Lady, Jackie Kennedy Onassis was also an accomplished writer and photographer. After Kenndy’s death in 1963, Jackie married shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis in 1968. She passed away in 1994 at the age of 64.

Contestant Katie has now amassed more than $35,000 during her three-game winning streak will be going for more this evening. If she wins once more, it will extend her total to an impressive four games and she will continue on with the show until she suffers a loss. “Jeopardy!” fans are hoping that won’t occur anytime soon.

Guthrie, a journalist and television personality, took command of the “Jeopardy!” guest-hosting gig earlier this week. She has drawn generally positive reviews for her performance through three episodes. She will continue in the role until her final episode, which is set for next Friday. Fellow journalist, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, will then take the “Jeopardy!” guest-hosting reigns for the following two weeks.

There is still no official timeline on when “Jeopardy!” might choose a new host. It is expected that a new permanent host will be chosen sometime this year.
