On Thursday, current Jeopardy! guest host and former champion Buzzy Cohen revealed “The Belt,” which will be given to the next Tournament of Champions winner.

In 2017, Cohen came out victorious as a contestant on that season’s Tournament of Champions. So things have come full circle for the former champ now that he’s hosting this year’s two-week event. Numerous other guest hosts have taken over the game show since Alex Trebek passed away in November 2020. However, only one other former champion, Ken Jennings, has taken the reins of the show. The rest have been celebrity interim hosts.

Yet Cohen did enlist one other former champion to help him show off a WWE-style championship belt. Former winner James Holzhauer joined Cohen to show off his own 2019 Jeopardy! Champion belt. The prized belt is resting in a black plush casing as each former champion holds it up for the camera. As Cohen notes, a new champion will be named on Friday, and will become the newest recipient of the awesome belt.

Jennings, whose 74-game win streak is still a Jeopardy! record, made sure to chime in on Cohen’s post. The former champions frequently interact with one another on social media. Jennings commented that the two men “both wore your nicest outfit!”

Buzzy is often dressed to a tee, similar to his suit and tie look in the photo. Holzhauer is looking a bit more casual in jeans and a track jacket.

“Commensurate to the perceived importance of the moment,” Cohen hilariously responded to Jennings.

Holzhauer simply reacted by saying,”Not true,” and shared arguably his most amusing Jeopardy! outfit to date. In May 2020, Holzhauer went “Avril Lavigne circa 2002” during a virtual interview. White V-neck undershirt, blazer, and tie around the neck. Can’t go wrong.

‘Jeopardy!’ Guest Host Mayim Bialik Will Take Over Soon for Buzzy Cohen

As the Tournament of Champions crown another winner on Friday, Buzzy Cohen’s two-week stint as guest host is coming to a close. So who’s up next to take over the game show? Fans of the ’90s sitcom Blossom and The Big Bang Theory will know her well.

Mayim Bialik is taking over as the newest celebrity guest host of Jeopardy!. Starting next Monday on May 31, Bialik will be at the podium for the next two weeks until June 11. As of now, Bialik produces and has a starring role in the sitcom Call Me Kat on FOX.

Even though she’s been on camera and on television since she was a kid on Blossom, hosting Jeopardy! comes with a whole new set of responsibilities.

“There’s a lot of responsibility that falls on the host,” she said in a March interview with PEOPLE. “I think also there’s a lot of iconic pressure. When I was looking over some of the scripts, I was thinking, how would Alex [Trebek] say this? And that’s probably not who I’m expected to be, Alex Trebek. But in my head, I am Alex Trebek — that’s who I want to be.”
