Katie Couric will grace our television screens as the guest host on Jeopardy! for a whole two weeks. She will serve in the role from March 8 to March 19. The show’s executive director, Mike Richards, said that the show will continue to utilize a mix of rotating hosts in the wake of the passing of long-time host Alex Trebek.

“Alex was a legend, revered by all of us,” Richards said. “I want to thank our guest hosts, who will not only help all of us celebrate his great legacy, but also bring their own touch to the show.”

Meanwhile, Couric says that it is an honor and a thrill to help the show continue operating after Trebek’s death.

“It is such a thrill to be here guest hosting a show I’ve watched for years, and a real honor to help as we recover after Alex,” Katie Couric said in a statement.
