Former Jeopardy! champion Ken Jennings is up to his old social media tricks with a Friday zinger drawing laughs from his social media followers. While mostly known for his game show successes, Jennings also has a robust sense of humor. He even wrote a book on comedy called “Planet Funny” in which he discusses the role of humor in life.

Commenting on a funny poll that asked Twitter users which eye they can best wink with, Jennings is quick with a humorous comment — as he typically is. The funny Twitter exchange took place Friday afternoon and drew much social media attention.

“Are you better at winking with your right or left eye?” the poll asks social media user.

Jennings is quick with a response to the hilarious polling questions, calling it the best he’s ever seen on the site.

“This the only good poll I’ve seen on Twitter,” he says.

‘Jeopardy!’ Champion is Beloved by Game Show Fans

Jennings is widely regarded as the most successful game show contestant of all time. In 2004, he went on an unprecedented 74-game winning streak that isn’t likely to be topped any time in the near future. His initial run on the show saw him win more than $2.5 million and become a household name to Jeopardy! fans across the country. In all of his game show appearances, including several later editions of Jeopardy!, Jennings has well over $4.5 million.

Earlier this year, Jennings became the first person to fill in for the late Jeopardy! icon Alex Trebek. The longtime game show host passed away late last year at the 80-years-old. Trebek’s death left a void behind the Jeopardy! host’s lectern that show officials knew would be tough to fill. As its most successful champion of all time, Jennings was a natural selection to be the first celebrity guest host of the show.

Jennings did an excellent job of hosting the show and has drawn the best ratings of all the participating guest hosts to this point. His multi-week tenure took in an exceptional 6.0 score on the Nielsen rating chart. With that score, he tops the Nielsen scores of big-time celebrities like NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers, journalist Anderson Cooper and talk show host, Dr. Mehmet Oz.

A Jeopardy! fan favorite since his first appearance on the quiz show, Jennings will likely receive consideration for the full-time gig when officials decide to take that route.
