Former Jeopardy! star Ken Jennings had some sarcastic remarks for a fan on social media on Monday evening.

If you are a fan of Jeopardy!, you most certainly know that Ken Jennings is one of the show’s all-time greats. He was a champion contestant that did so well, he was named a guest host of the show following the passing of longtime host, Alex Trebek. Jennings is also a producer of the show as well. He holds the record for the longest winning stream with 74 wins.

Nowadays, he is also one of the Chasers on the show The Chase. Jennings joined the show back in January of this year. He joined up with other Chasers Brad Rutter and James Holzhauer. Both of those names should be very family to Jeopardy! fans.

But not all fans out there love The Chase or Ken Jennings for that matter. But don’t think that negative comments hurt his feelings. Quite the opposite, actually — Ken Jennings screenshots his hate mail and puts those who send it on blast.

“I do not like you at all,” one fan wrote into The Chase. “With all the money you have made, you are a smart a–.”

There is one thing that the fan definitely got right. And that is that Ken Jennings has made a lot of money. In fact, Jennings is the highest-earning American quiz player of all time.

“Why is @TheChaseABC back on your TVs so soon? I have to credit our loyal fans,” Jennings wrote on Twitter.

Fans couldn’t help but poke fun at the situation.

“WHAT A SMART A– RESPONSE KEN,” one fan replied. To which Jennings replied back, “You’re not wrong.”

‘Jeopardy!’ Star Ken Jennings Isn’t Shy on Social Media

If it isn’t obvious by now, Ken Jennings doesn’t hide his thoughts when it comes to posting on social media. He engages with his fans — for better or for worse — all the time. And he has proven that his sarcastic and witty personality both draws in new fans and turns others away.

The tweet from the Jeopardy! legend on Monday evening, however, is certainly not as bad as others he’s had. Jennings found himself in some hot water for offensive tweets he made in the past. He has since apologized, but that hasn’t stopped him from being himself online.

Many fans believe that Jennings is the front runner to replace the one and only Alex Trebek as the host of Jeopardy! If that ends up being the case, we can rest assured knowing that the popular game show won’t be lacking in personality.
