While it seems the Jeopardy! world is enveloped in drama and controversy, one alum is joking through it all. Ken Jennings keeps a modest appearance on social media. While the show is going through changes and some issues, Jennings has kept his same outward appearance. A goofy nerd who loves dad jokes.

With the new movie Annette out in theaters, Jennings weighed in on the film. With stars Adam Driver and Marion Cotillard, the movie revolves around the love between a stand-up comedian and an opera singer. So far, critics have enjoyed the movie. But Jennings wasn’t so kind in his assessment of the film…or was he?

While the tweet avoids any sort of Jeopardy! related topics, it was good to see Jennings back on social media following the Mike Richards fallout. While it seems like in the end Jennings enjoyed the film, the comparison is hardly complimentary. Michigan J. Frog isn’t necessarily the best comparison when one thinks about a major motion picture, but the sentiment is funny nonetheless.

‘Jeopardy!’ Going Through Changes

Just when fans thought they knew who the new host of Jeopardy! would be, it has changed already. Due to past comments made on a podcast, fans started an uproar about Mike Richards. As a result, Richards has stepped down as host. While the episodes already filmed with him as host will air, no more will be filmed.

Currently, Richards is still an executive producer on the show. It will be awkward for a bit, but the show must go on. Fans have once again called out for LeVar Burton or any number of other candidates. With such an extensive list of guest hosts, there are great choices to pick from. Not many viewers were familiar with Richards, and since he burst onto the scene they have not taken to him.

The search continues for a permanent host to replace the late Alex Trebek. While the show looks for its new host, there will be a lot of input from fans. That doesn’t mean they will be able to sway the choice completely, but hopefully, their voices are heard. It would be a shame for Jeopardy! to get bogged down in this issue. Viewers will be happy once some stability comes to the show.
