‘Jeopardy!’ Legend James Holzhauer Subtly Rips Aaron Rodgers in New ‘Personal Choice’ Post

Just a little over a week after former Jeopardy! guest host Aaron Rodgers announced he tested positive for COVID-19 and admitted he didn’t receive the vaccine, one of the game show’s legends, James Holzhauer, subtly ripped into the Green Bay Packers quarterback in a new “personal choice” Twitter post.

Although the Jeopardy! star didn’t mention Rodgers by name, it was an obvious jab at the quarterback. “Many people will say it’s healthier not to throw the ball up for grabs in the end zone but it’s up to each QB to make his own personal choice to immunize himself from interceptions.”

As previously reported, Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19. The Green Bay Packers quarterback stated in September that he was actually immunized when asked if he had received the vaccine that was specifically for the virus. During his interview on The Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers stated he wasn’t being deceptive when he said he was immunized. “During that time, it was a witch hunt that was going on across the league. Where everybody in the media was so concerned about who was vaccinated.”

Rodgers then shared that his plan was to simply say he had been immunized to avoid any type of scrutiny. “It wasn’t some sort of ruse or lie, it was the truth. Look, I’m not some sort of anti-vax, flat earther. I am somebody who’s a critical thinker. You guys know me. I march to the beat of my own drum.”

The quarterback also revealed that he is actually allergic to an ingredient in the mRNA vaccine. But the allergy only precluded him from receiving the Moderna and Pfizer shots.

The Jeopardy! Legend also took to the social media platform last week to condemn Aaron Rogers and another guest host, Dr. Oz, for their “pseudoscience” beliefs

James Holzhauer Had Doubts that Aaron Rodgers Would Ever Be Considered As the Permanent Host of ‘Jeopardy!’

During a June 2021 interview with Review-Journal, James Holzhauer spoke about Aaron Rodgers actually being considered as a permanent host of Jeopardy! “I haven’t actually watched Jeopardy! in many months, so I can’t comment on anyone’s performance as host,” Holzhauer explained. The game show legend does not that there was word about Sony wanting someone who is 100% committed to the job.

“So I doubt Aaron Rodgers is actually in the running unless he suddenly retires,” Holzhauer declared.

Holzhauer is the third-highest-earning American game show contestant of all time. He is best known for his 32-game winning streak as champion on Jeopardy! From April to June 2019. He won more than $2.46 million during his appearances on the show. He is the second-highest winner on the game show and third in the number of games won.
