And not just any chicken nuggets either. The All-Time Jeopardy! Champ is many things, but this tweet proves he’s a “#dad” above all else.

Firstly, before you set yourself up for disappointment Ken Jennings fans, there’s no STAR WARS reference in these chicken nuggies. Sorry, Baby Yoda.

Instead, Jennings is firing off another priceless tweet that reminds us of the old Twitter. You know, when the platform was actually just short thoughts (i.e. a “tweet”) from people either to inform, enlighten, or brighten others’ days? Ah, innocence.

At least we still have Ken to uphold the OG ways. He’s doing just that Thursday, too, as he gives followers a glimpse into the life not of Ken Jennings: Jeopardy! Genius – but Ken Jennings: #Dad.

“For 15 minutes every day, the whole house smells like my daughter’s microwaved soy chicken nuggets. Blessed to be a #dad,” the game show icon tweets.

Sounds like a small price to pay for the joys of fatherhood, Ken. Can we call you Ken? Because we do.

‘Jeopardy!’s Ken Jennings is a True Family Man

Metaphorical “we” aside, Jennings is, in fact, a father! Jeopardy! fans (this author included) tend to still think of Ken as the fresh-faced young champion that changed the game forever with his 74-game winning streak. The champ is now, however, 46-years-old (still young) and has two children.

The daughter he speaks of, Caitlin Elizabeth, is painted pretty clear for us through her love of microwaving chicken nuggets. She has a brother, too: Dylan. We can’t confirm he hates the smell and taste of said soy chicken nuggets – but we’d bet a sizable sum on it.

As for their mother, Ken met his wife, now Mindy Jennings, at Bringham Young University. Yes, they were college sweethearts and are every bit as precious together as you’d expect. Just a few months after both graduated in 2000, they tied the knot. They’ve been inseparable ever since.

In their early days together, Ken worked as a software engineer while Mindy taught preschool. Then Jeopardy! came a knockin’, and the game show would become a tremendous part of their lives. While fame drives many lesser couples apart, Ken’s Jeopardy! success has done nothing but bring them closer together.

“She was always my first call when I got back to the Sony parking garage,” Jennings told Vulture during his 74-game winning streak back in 2004.

“None of my friends, family, or co-workers knew why I was sneaking away a few times a month,” Ken added, though he did have to tell his boss “because I didn’t want to get fired.”

Ken, you precious human, you. Here’s to hoping the All-Time Champ gets to return to host Jeopardy! in the future – perhaps even permanently.
