Jeopardy! champ Matt Amodio is a hot commodity these days. Just ask the “lively” ladies of the “Amodio Rodeo.”

Quick thinking trivia king Matt Amodio won 38 straight games on Jeopardy! this year. And by the time he was dethroned on October 11th, he was $1,518,601 richer.

Amodio’s run on the game show was fun for all of us. The Yale University Ph.D. student was a riot on social media and an all-around interesting guy.

And as Amodio told Newsweek, he’s also aware that there is “a group of lively female members of the ‘Amodio Rodeo on Twitter.'” The group was created by “a nerd mom” who “loves” Amodio. And her page is growing by the day.

But Matt Amodio’s celebrity status doesn’t end with the Amodio Rodeo. The studly champ also has a legion of lovely ladies who would love nothing more than to become the next Mrs. Matt Amodio. Women ask for his hand in marriage on the daily. And Amodio is “flattered” and “entertained” by all the attention.

“Some of my fans are just hilarious,” he said. “They’re very smart people making it a fun time for everybody. The Twitter marriage proposals are continuing at about the same frequency as they were before, but I haven’t received any in person.”

And he has some good news for all the women who are crushing on him. He’s not completely against the idea of settling down. He just needs to enjoy a more classic courtship first.

“I would need to know a bit more about Twitter fans before diving into anything romantic,” he continued. “A profile picture of a cartoon from the 2000s doesn’t really tell you much about a person!”

Amy Schneider Had to Convince Herself that She Could Hold her Own Against The Reigning ‘Jeopardy!’ Champ

Amy Schneider is currently riding a seven-day Jeopardy! win streak, which is an impressive feat! But when the contestant was preparing for her game show debut, Matt Amodio was still breaking records on the series. And the idea of competing against the legend terrified her.

Earlier this week, Schneider wrote a Newsweek piece that details her experience on Jeopardy! so far. And she admitted that she had to “psyche” herself up for a possible Schneider-Amodio matchup.

“When I originally got the call to go on Jeopardy!, Matt was still on his run, so I was definitely nervous at the prospect of playing him,” she admitted. “But you can’t go in thinking you have no chance against someone. I knew I had to play whoever I was up against. So I had to psyche myself up and tell myself: ‘I can beat Matt Amodio!'”
