The game show’s current guest host, Dr. Oz, continues his ‘Dr. Oz Jeopardy!’ challenge with followers. The category this Friday? “Sleepless in Seattle.”
Following journalism legend Katie Couric, it’s time for Dr. Mehmet Oz to step in as host of ‘Jeopardy!’. While the television personality’s hosting gig has come with its fair share of criticism, the Dr. is powering forward in high spirits.
“I’ll be hosting ‘Jeopardy!’ for the next two weeks,” the Dr. began his first social media post during his hosting tenure. “So, to make it fun we have a daily dose of Dr. Oz ‘Jeopardy!’ for you.”
And that’s exactly what’s on the table Friday. For his latest round of ‘Dr. Oz Jeopardy!,’ the host reveals the category as “Sleepless in Seattle.” The clue?
“It’s Oz’s favorite 20-minute quick nap trick & sounds like you can get it at the coffee shop.”
“Think you know the answer?” he asks followers. “Comment below, then swipe to see if you got it right”

‘Dr. Oz’ Jeopardy!’ Gets Sleepless in Seattle
Ready for the answer?
“What is a nappuchino!” Dr. Oz reveals in his second slide. “Here’s what you do! Have a little coffee, take a nap. The coffee will wake you up, so you feel refreshed 20 minutes later. Try it!” Oz concludes with his trademark wink.
Despite the controversy surrounding his medical suggestions, Dr. Oz’s connection to ‘Jeopardy!’ is one of the strongest out of all the guest hosts. He and late legend Alex Trebek actually shared a close friendship, with Alex trusting him fully. Oz would visit the set often. In addition, ‘Jeopardy!’s producer and fellow guest host Mike Richards even chose Oz as a guest host in honor of the two friends’ bond.
“It is such an honor to be a guest host,” Oz began on his first night hosting. “I was fortunate to become friends with Alex, and visited him and this show as often as I could. One of my favorite memories was of Alex showing me, with immense pride, a room full of letters of support and love for him from you, from his fans.”
“And of all his achievements, he was most proud of his connection with all of you at home,” he adds in tribute of his late friend. “I miss you, Alex, and I treasure your desire to always pay it forward.”
We miss him, too, Dr. Oz.
