“You don’t want COVID” or to “go through everything that it brings with it.” “Wear your mask, wash your hands, use your wipes,” Strahan said. “I did all those things, but it just goes to show me that it takes more than just you as an individual. Everybody has to do it so that we help out each other, because it’s more than just about you. It’s about the people you’re around and your fellow human beings.”

Former New York Giants defensive end and current FOX Sports analyst Michael Strahan got a pleasant surprise on Friday evening while watching Jeopardy!.

The former NFL standout’s name was the answer to one of the Jeopardy! questions on Friday night. Strahan was was pleasantly surprised while watching the exchange. And spoiler alert, the contestant was able to figure out the correct answer — “Michael Strahan.”

The hint for the question was the following: “Before saying ‘Good Morning America,’ he won a Super Bowl and was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014.”

Strahan shows off his excitement when the contestant answers the question correctly. He posted a quick video to Instagram on Friday of him watching the show when his number is called.

“Strahan — he got it right!” Strahan says in the video. He then changes his tone to a much deeper pitch. “He got it right, yeahhhh, ME.”

The Hall of Famer wrote a caption alongside the video saying, “Mama I made it.” As if he just now “made it” by being an answer on Jeopardy!.

“Watching Jeopardy and look what popped up!! #MamaImadeit” Strahan posted alongside his video. The post has already got nearly 10,000 likes.

Michael Strahan, of course, set a record for the most sacks in a season in 2001. A few years later he helped the Giants win Super Bowl XLII over the New England Patriots in his final season in 2007. After retiring from the NFL, he became a popular media personality. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014.

Michael Strahan ‘Feeling Well’ After Testing Positive for COVID-19

As many already know, Michael Strahan recently tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.

Strahan has been recently absent from his morning show, Good Morning America. His colleagues, which include George Stephanopoulos, Amy Robach, and Robin Roberts, say that Strahan is doing well. The show’s hosts promptly took the time to address the issue of Strahan’s absence at the top of the show. All three of the remaining hosts discussed the situation and wanted to wish Strahan a speedy recovery.

If his Instagram video above is any indication, it looks like Strahan has been recovering quite well. He released a video message on Wednesday in which he described what he went through with COVID-19.

“Just want to say thank you to everybody for your well wishes, and thank you for everyone who reached out and sent me the get-well wishes and all the advice on how to feel better,” he said. “I just want to let you know that I do feel a lot better and I’m just thankful to be on the side of it that I am.”“You don’t want COVID” or to “go through everything that it brings with it.”

“Wear your mask, wash your hands, use your wipes,” Strahan says in the video. “I did all those things, but it just goes to show me that it takes more than just you as an individual. Everybody has to do it so that we help out each other because it’s more than just about you. It’s about the people you’re around and your fellow human beings.”
