From one respected host to the other: ‘Jeopardy!’ legend Ken Jennings is all-praise when it comes to ‘MasterMinds’ host Brooke Burns.

“How about a little @BrookeBurns appreciation tweet,” Ken Jennings tweets to fans. The “Jeopardy!” All-Time Champ” and former interim host is singing the praises of Brooke Burns Tuesday as the two gear up for “two new episodes of MasterMinds!”

“As skilled a game show host as anyone in the biz AND the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. New #MasterMinds today!” Jennings adds. Considering the high-praise for Jennings during his ‘Jeopardy!’ hosting stint, and Burns’ long tenure of hosting Hollywood game shows – this is no small sentiment!

The two can be seen together on ‘Master Minds,‘ where Jennings is often featured as the “trivia pro” he is. If that title sounds unfamiliar, that’s because it’s relatively new. The Game Show Network trivia program was originally known as ‘Best Ever Trivia Show,’ where it began on June 10, 2019. Under that title, Sherri Shepherd hosted the show – and Ken Jennings has been a featured player since those days alongside Muffy Marracco, Jonathan Corbblah, Arianna Haut, and Ryan Chaffee.

On April 6, 2020, the show was renewed as ‘Master Minds’ with Brooke Burns as host. Since her stint began, Burns has been praised as a quick-witted, highly-effective host – including by Jennings below. This should come as no surprise, as Burns has been in the hosting arena for years now.

Is ‘Jeopardy!’ Next for Brooke Burns?

Aside from her successful careers in both fashion modeling and acting, Brooke Burns thrives as a television gameshow host. She hosted all episodes of NBC’s ‘Dog Eat Dog’ competition from 2002 to 2005. Then, she would host 18 total episodes of FOX’s ‘Hole in the Wall.’

She began her relationship with Game Show Network on the quiz show ‘The Chase’. Showing how small the game show world must be, Ken Jennings is now prominently featured on the primetime revival of ‘The Chase’ as a “Chaser.” Burns, however, did not return to host as she continues to lead ‘Master Minds.’

This is no swipe at Burns, either, considering her work on ‘Master Minds’ has been incredibly well-received. The show has seen its own Daytime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Game Show. In addition, Burns herself saw a nomination for Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Game Show Host at the 41st Daytime Emmy Awards.

Could all of this spell a ‘Jeopardy!’ guest hosting stint for the star sometime down the line?

“Is she getting a guest host stint on @Jeopardy? seems like a better candidate than Dr. Oz….” replies Patrick, one of Jennings’ followers, to his Tuesday tweet.

It is a possibility. The show’s producer and fellow guest host Mike Richards, however, seems to be set on picking from the current slew of guest hosts as Alex Trebek’s successor.
