Popular quiz show “Jeopardy!” is in the mood for a little tennis as the French Open, one of the biggest events in the sport, is winding down.

“Jeopardy!” recognizes the event in the best way they know how to — putting tennis-theme categories on the board. On Thursday, “Jeopardy!” uses its social media account to spread a little tennis cheer among its watchers and followers. Their humorous social media photo was well-received and full of tennis puns in the replies section of the post.

“Game, set “Jeopardy!'” the Thursday afternoon social media post says. “Think you could ace these categories?”

As you can see, “Jeopardy!” arranges the categories on the board with tennis terms like “Deuce” and “Game, Set, Match” along with other common tennis sayings. It is a strong shout-out to one of the most popular sports in the world and tennis fans certainly took notice of the show’s effort. The annual French Open is a Grand Slam Tournament that is being played on clay, outdoor tennis courts. The tournament began on May 31 and will conclude on Sunday, June 13, with the finals. The French Open is one of the most-watched sporting events in the world and showcases the best of the best Professional Tennis has to offer.

‘Jeopardy!’ Continues Quest for New Host

While pro tennis and “Jeopardy!” don’t have a lot in common, they are both intense competitions with only one winner. The show is a stage of “flux” at the moment as they continue to cycle through celebrity guest hosts. Since the death of Alex Trebek late last year, “Jeopardy!” has yet to find a new permanent host. Instead, they are utilizing various celebrities from all walks of life as temporary gest hosts. Trebek became a household name, hosting “Jeopardy!” for 37 years before battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer. In true Trebek fashion, he recorded his final episodes only a few days before his death.

The hosting reigns are currently in the highly capable hands of actress and neuroscientist Mayim Bialik. She has drawn rave reviews for her performance so far, with today being her final episode. Bialik has been a hit with “Jeopardy!” fans and has some supporters who would like show producers to consider her for the full-time gig.

Former ‘Jeopardy!’ contestants Ken Jennings and Buzzy Cohen have all received high marks for their performances. Jennings, widely considered the most successful game show contestant of all time, was the first to take on guest-hosting duties. Cohen was brought in to host the annual “Jeopardy!” Tournament of Champions during his tenure. Like Bialik, both men are favorites among the “Jeopardy!” faithful.

It isn’t yet known when “Jeopardy!” will choose a permanent host but it is likely to come sometime later this year.
