The Dallas Cowboys beat the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday afternoon on the heels of a shocking comeback after trailing by 19 points at halftime, and owner Jerry Jones’ reaction went viral. Dallas kicked a game-winning field goal as time expired to win 40-39 in one of the more wild NFL matchups in recent history.

With less than two minutes left in regulation, the Cowboys called an onside kick and ran the play to perfection. All the Falcons had to do was jump on the slow rolling football to likely end the game by running out the rest of the clock. However, the Falcons’ players during the kick return surprisingly let the ball roll too far and the Cowboys took advantage. Accordingly, after recovering the onside kick, Dallas was able to go on to kick the game-winning field goal.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’ reaction to recovering the onside kick was caught on camera, and the footage has gone viral. A masked Jones is seen vigorously pumping both fists out of excitement in the short clip.

Afterward, many Cowboys fans on Twitter were just as hyped over the onside kick recovery as Jones.

Other Twitter users thought Jones’ reaction was hilarious, and shared their amusement.

However, the Cowboys and Jones are a polarizing team. So it was not surprising to see differing opinions on Jones.

The Dallas Cowboys now have a 1-1 record to begin the NFL season, while the Atlanta Falcons have fallen to 0-2.

Dallas will try to keep the ball rolling in Week 3 when they face the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon. In addition, Atlanta will look for their first win at home against the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
