If you’re in the market for a Massachusetts mansion with a guitar-shaped pool, you’re in luck. Legendary Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry has put his private New England estate up for sale.

The 71-year-old musician has recently listed his 7-acre property along with its accompanying 7,181 sq. ft. home. What’s the asking price though? If you’ve got $4.5 million to spend, then it’s all yours.

The house, which was built in 1974, sits in the seaside town of Duxbury, which is on the South Shore of The Bay State. Perry and his wife, Billie, reportedly purchased the home 33 years ago in 1988. Since they took over the property, they’ve updated the whole house over the years. Some of the highlights of the estate include a recording studio, a guest house, and a three-stall barn.

Of course, there’s also the aforementioned guitar-shaped pool, which is appropriate considering the famous Aerosmith guitarist who owns it. The pool is in the shape of the body of a guitar, and the diving board replicates a guitar neck.

Further amenities of the house include a four-car garage with an additional 20 parking spaces. The house has a billiards room, high-tech media room, and rooftop garden. There are three fireplaces throughout the home, with one featured in the master bedroom. The country-style kitchen comes with stainless-steel appliances, all-white cabinetry, and stone countertops. Finally, the property includes double entrance gates and fencing around the entire property.

Coldwell Banker New England real estate agents Janet and Bert Koelsch are in charge of the listing. The Brook Haven Farm country estate also offers “ethereal views” of the surrounding countryside, according to the listing. You can view the listing along with pictures of Joe Perry’s estate here.

Aerosmith Guitarist Reveals the Band Almost Replaced Iconic Frontman Steven Tyler

Just a few months ago, in August, the famous Aerosmith guitarist spoke with Ultimate Classic Rock about his iconic career. While speaking in the interview, he revealed that the band once thought about replacing their legendary lead singer Steven Tyler.

“It was really another one of those times, you don’t keep a band together without a lot of bumps … You know every band has its ups and downs,” Joe Perry explained.

In 2011, Tyler became a judge on American Idol alongside Randy Jackson and Jennifer Lopez. That’s when the band considered bringing in former Van Halen lead singer Sammy Hagar as Tyler’s replacement. However, Tyler left the singing competition after only two seasons and returned to Aerosmith.

“Over the years, everybody has to bust out and do what they want. And I remember Steven doing that TV show, I thought that was great. I just knew he had to do something like that, and doing that solo record that he did. So the band wasn’t that tight, there was talk and there were so many people involved, like I said, lawyers, different managers,” Joe Perry added.
