One year ago, beloved actress Kelly Preston passed away after a two-year battle with breast cancer. Today, her husband John Travolta revealed, the last film she ever starred in will premiere in UK theaters.

Preston captured audiences with her movie performances for decades, from her work in “Jerry Maguire” to “Battlefield Earth” to “For Love of the Game.” Now, viewers can see John Travolta’s late wife’s final film, “Off the Rails” in theaters today.

“Off the Rails” stars Jenny Seagrove, Sally Phillips, Elizabeth Dormer-Phillips, Ben Miller, Franco Nero, and Judi Dench alongside Preston. In the film, a group of women in their 50s embarks on a cross-continent European adventure in order to fulfill their friend’s dying wish.

In honor of his late wife’s last film, John Travolta posted a trailer for the movie on Instagram along with a sweet caption.

“Off the Rails is Kelly’s last film- she was very proud of it and of all of the wonderful talent that she got to work with in it. It is available in UK and Ireland theaters starting this Friday, July 23rd! @[email protected],” John Travolta wrote.

John Travolta’s Late Wife Kelly Preston Celebrated By Her ‘Off The Rails’ Family

John Travolta isn’t the only one to honor Kelly Preston on the day of her final movie premiere. Co-star Sally Phillips also took to Instagram yesterday to honor her late friend. She posted a picture on the red carpet from the London premiere of “Off the Rails,” featuring her and Jenny Seagrove.

“Only two when there should have been three. @jseagrove2  #missingsomeone #kellypreston,” Phillips wrote on the post.

The crew behind the film also celebrated John Travolta’s late wife’s last performance. Producer Bill Kentwright told Variety earlier in November 2020 how important the film is to him and the cast.

“I loved the story of these three friends who have lost their way from the moment I was pitched it,” Kentwright said. “Our commitment to it has only deepened since we lost our beloved Kelly. It’s about women reclaiming their true selves – and celebrates friendship, love, joy, and freedom – a welcome antidote after a difficult 2020.”

Screen Media, who bought the rights to the film at the same time, also shared a word about Preston. “We are so excited to be bringing a movie about fun, tradition, and love to audiences at a time when we can all use a little more of each of those. We know audiences will love seeing these incredible actresses tell this story. Tragically, Kelly Preston’s passing makes this film’s message of friendship especially poignant, but we are so proud to be able to present ‘Off the Rails’ and Kelly’s performance in it.”
