Kanye West ‘Walks’ on Water During Sunday Service, Joel Osteen Leads Sermon

Kanye West “walked” on water during Sunday Service alongside Joel Osteen.

Kanye West “Walking” On Water

The rapper took part in two services on Sunday (September 6) in Fayetteville, Georgia. He attempted to recreate the story in the bible where Jesus walks on water.

He seemingly walked across a body of water with his daughter North and son Saint. His choir was near him seemingly floating on the water. They performed various gospel songs together.

Televangelist Joel Osteen gave a sermon during the service. “I’m watching these fine men and women singing, it looks like they’re walking on the water and my mind goes back to that time where Jesus invited Peter to walk on the water,” Osteen told the crowd according to the Independent. “I think we all have times in life where God’s telling us to do something, I feel it down on the inside, [but] we don’t feel qualified. ‘I can’t sing like them’, ‘I can’t invent like Kanye’… but God doesn’t put a dream in your heart and not give you the ability to do it.”

Due to coronavirus (COVID-19) regulations, there were only 150 people in attendance and allegedly had health and safety protocols in place. However, only some visitors were seen wearing face masks in the video. Kim-Kardashian West, La La Anthony, Monica Denise, and 2 Chainz all attended the event. Kardashian-West shared videos and photos on her Instagram account.

Kim and Kanye

West and Kardashian-West have recently dealt with public marriage troubles. West has gone on many Twitter raids regarding his family.

“Kim and Kanye have put a lot on hold professionally to be together with their family,” a source told Entertainment Tonight prior to the event. “[They] love one another and want to work on saving their marriage.”

Earlier this summer, West was under fire for revealing that he and his now-wife were considering aborting their first child, North. During a presidential campaign rally, West spoke about his regret for considering an abortion and would be “at peace” if his wife divorced him over the speech. “Even if my wife were to divorce me after this speech,” he said. “She brought North into this world when I did not want to.”
